Grapefruit mojito

INGREDIENTS
- 4 tangerines
- 2 cups of water
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 10-12 whole cloves
- 1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg
- 750 ml ruby port
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Slice two of the tangerines open and squeeze the juice into a large nonreactive saucepan. Add the water, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg and cloves. Peel the other 2 tangerines and add the segments to the saucepan as well.
- Set over medium-high heat, stirring frequently to dissolve the sugar. Allow it to reach to a boil, then turn it down to medium heat. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the port and heat the mixture but don't let it boil. Sieve the mixture into a bowl with a spout. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
